The 27th Anprotec Conference on Entrepreneurship and Areas of Innovation will be held between October 23 to 26, 2017, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), at the South America Convention Center.
Celebrating the Association’s 30 years of existence, Anprotec and Sebrae, in partnership with the UFRJ Science Park, will hold the event with the theme “Innovation and entrepreneurship transforming cities”.
The conference program includes the Parallel Technical Sessions (STPs), focused on the presentation of full papers and good practices reports, pre-approved from the requirements established in this Call for Papers.
Additionally, due to Anprotec’s 30-year celebration, this edition of the Conference will be marked by the presentation of historical records of our members, through the “Memory” session.
Established in 1987, the Brazilian Association of Science Parks and Business Incubators (Anprotec) has approximately 300 members, including business incubators, science parks, education and research institutions, government bodies and other entities focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. As the leader of the movement in Brazil, the Association operates through training activities and the articulation of public policies as well as the generation and propagation of knowledge.
The Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) is an agency with the mission of promoting and providing technical assistance to small businesses, which correspond to 99% of Brazilian companies, or 9.1 million micro and small businesses, and more than 4.2 million of these are Individual Micro Entrepreneur (MEI). Sebrae also helps more than 153,000 family farmers. The institution has about 700 service centers throughout the country, as well as a call center and a web portal.
